Mobsters! Are you ready to tackle Kano's latest and greatest Raid feature? If you're reading this in an Italian restaurant, nodding grimly to your Capo while smoking a cigar, we can only assume that you have the skills, guts and cunning to survive and thrive as a VAULT BREAKER!
In this feature, you will battle Raid Bosses, recruit Crew Members and break open Vaults, earning you epic loot while competing for valuable prizes!
Crew Members:
During the event, you will recruit 1 Crew Member for every 1,000 actions you take against the Raid Boss (Attacks or Heals). There are 5 types of Crew Members to recruit, from weakest to strongest...
- Thug
- Safe Cracker
- Getaway Driver
- Hacker
- Mastermind
Upon completing 1,000 actions you will automatically recruit one random Crew Member. Weaker Crew Members are more likely to be unlocked than powerful ones. There is no limit to the number of Crew Members you can accumulate. Your recruited Crew Members can then be spent to break open Vaults!
Vaults:
There are four different sizes of Vaults to open. The larger the Vault, the more valuable the rewards inside! However, larger Vaults also require more power to open:
- Small
- Medium
- Large
- Massive
To break open a Vault, you must assign and spend Crew Members on that Vault. The combined power of your Crew must be equal to or greater than the power of the Vault you wish to open.
If you spend more power than necessary to open a Vault, any excess power will go towards the next Vault you open of that size. You can open an unlimited numbers of Vaults, but each time a Vault is opened, the power cost to open that size of Vault will be doubled. All Vault costs and any excess assigned power are reset at the end of each day.
Vault Contents:
Each time you open a Vault, you will receive one random item from that Vault's rewards list. Larger Vaults contain more valuable items! Opening a Vault of any size will score you one trophy on the Leaderboard.
Leaderboard:
Whenever you open any Vault, you will score a trophy on the server-wide Leaderboard. At the end of the event, all players on the leaderboard will receive a prize, but those with the highest number of opened Vaults will earn the greatest rewards!
Your Leaderboard position at the end of the Raid Vault Breaker event will determine the types of rewards you receive. These Leaderboard reward brackets are broken up into 9 groups.
Other Important Notes:
- Remember, you can spend more Crew Member power than needed to open a Vault. If you do so, the excess power will go towards the next Vault you open of that size.
- Each time you open a Vault, the cost of opening that Vault size will double. Vault costs are reset each day at 12:00am Pacific Time.
- All Vaults and Crew Members are individual. They are not shared, nor split between players.
- Any unspent Crew Members will be lost at the end of the event.
- Ties on the Leaderboard are broken in favor of those who reached the position first.
- Opening a Massive Vault guarantees a Premium Item!
